I'm installing TTI headers to Trick Flow 240 cylinder heads. Heads and headers are new. What are your thoughts on anti-seize on the attach bolts? TTI directions do not mention anti-seize; Just install bolts and torque.
Are all the bolt holes in those heads dry holes? Considering the common issues of header bolts backing off I might be more inclined to use a blue loctite unless thread sealant is needed on some of them.
I used it on mine, figured it couldn't hurt anything. It's not like the header gaskets are never going to need to be replaced anyway,at least i know i'll be able to get the bolts out, lol.
Don't know if it is correct or not, but I always put a dab of anti seize on those bolts. Dissimilar metals and all. I got in the habit checking them for tightness when doing the yearly oil change.
