Any clue on value?

Might be picking up a complete E body rear axle .
My only interest is the 3rd member (factory 4.10 SG).

Anyone have an idea of what the axles/ housing might be worth?..or even salable?.

Axles, housing, backing plates would be good for someone doing a resto.

Ask $3-500 ?

I sold one this past weekend at the swap meet in Cullman, Alabama.

I couldn’t give on E body 8 3/4 rear away 15 yrs ago at Carlisle. Harder to find now though, so a housing & axles are worth 150-300? As hard as A body rears are to find, should cut the housing down to match them.

IIRC all E body cars except HiPo 4 speed cars got an 8 3/4, making them one of the easiest to find, but also one of the widest.

They do, however work in 71-74 B body cars and the "correct" unit for those cars is hard to find.

The last two I bought were each $100.

One had a 2.94 741 chunk and the other had a 2.76 open 489.

I then traded one for a set of 15" OEM rallye wheels.
