Very bad fire going on. I know there is a mopar parts yard off the 138. Looks like it may all go up in flames. Owner supplied cars to Fast and Furious movies and a car for Barry for his rags to riches show.

Thanks for asking ! yaeh its far enough away plus its almost always windy here and the wind is blowing it North of us.

Update
Jay may be a bout 30 miles or more
Edwards is about 80 miles North
I'm 20 miles North of Edwards AFB, and the base has very low visibility
Smells so smoky!

Yup,
The fire has not gotten to that side yet, I do not believe
I think it is more on the Hesperia (Eastern Side) of the I-15 Cajon Pass
I can look out my office here at Edwards and the fire is definitely on the other side of the mountain
Phelan looks safe from here

This one is bad, I am in Downey and see smoke from it. That is the yard I hope all is good for him.

Lot of air traffic over the house. Loudest is a skycrane. 15 is closed so the 210 is pretty empty.

a mandatory order to evacuate some 35,000
{homes ? or people ?, not sure which more now no doubt}

The fire & especially smoke is tough,
I've been threw a few of them over the years...
