Any split bumper Cordobas?

A friend of mine was considering buying my other Cordoba and wanted to know if anyone had ever done a split bumper Cordoba or any other b bodies.

Yes or a 72 Lincoln Mark. You would need two grilles to make it work for the Cordoba though.

I was thinking along those same lines for a while. I still think it would look cool, but the big-grille thing has gotten trendy and can be seen on everything from Chargers to Audis and Volkswagens.
I think the better, more practical way to accomplish that huge grille would be with some stainless steel mesh. Take a look at the grilles on some newer big (18-wheeler) trucks and you'll see what I mean. That stuff is kind of expensive, especially in stainless, but I think it would look pretty cool.
