Anyone Ever Eat a Gold Donut?

I am watching a Netflix cooking competition show ("The Final Table") where during the first episode, one team makes tacos with crickets (the insects) and gold.

Some chefs use gold to "decorate" their more extravagant dishes. The body does not really absorb it during digestion, but the human body may contain a minute amount.
