Anyone experienced with Edelbrock Pro-Flo Multi-Point EFI?
I have an older version NOS (circa 2004) available to me for a good price.
I am considering using it on a 400ci stroked to 451.
Don't want to catch fire lol
LMK anyone's thoughts with these earlier units? How they compare to Holley Sniper?

Personally Id go with the sniper kit, can't go wrong with a brand new kit for $1000. That's what I'm using for my 505

Thanks Coronet, good advice... I hear consistently good things about the sniper.
Would like to hear from any experienced users of the ProFlow before I write it off?

Unless the unit was a NEW pro-flow. I would go with the sniper or fitech all day. From someone whom has sold all three units to bunches of members here and FABO, the pro flow 3 is badass, and i would sell one in a heartbeat. a used 1 or 2... i wouldn't trade for a carburetor.

You're welcome.
I remember i do a member discount if/when you're ready for a sniper or fitech. or even the new edelbrock pro-flow 3.
Do you have the sniper efi in stock? I'll be using the 8 injector version for my 505 build, not quite ready to purchase yet as I haven't got the motor back from machine yet. Seems the sniper unit is a month backorder on summit and jegs What's your member discount, at this point my budget is turned upside down and I need all the discounts I can get hahah

however the 8 injector unit hasn't even been released yet.

you'd need to go with a fitech 1200 if you are over the 650 HP the sniper can handle at the moment.

I just took out a proflo 2 and installed a proflo 3 conversion. The tune on a 2 or older has to be perfect the 3 has a wide band o2 and works great.

We're running a $300 mail in rebate on any of the edelbrock pro-flow 3 systems.

Any other rebates on the other systems?

as in fitech or holley?

I do my 5% on those if you contact me directly. PM me or call in and ask for me. The counter guys probably won't know what the FABO discount is. lol You just have to go through me.

Hello from a sister forum (For C Bodies). Found this discussion via google and would like to hear from a pro, who is familiar with different systems out there.

I am seriously considering the EFI conversion for our '78 Canadian spec Newport with a 400. Priority on better driveability, response and hopefully a bit of extra economy. A bit of extra torque and power would be a nice bonus, but not a priority.
As a concept, Edelbrock's PF 3 or 4 appeals more, being a proper port EFI. But it is expensive and looking at their products page I can't find Mopar 400. So would it even fit/work with it?
Sniper EFI is Option #2 that appeals with its lower cost and complication (can keep the original intake, I presume). It is a TBI, but still better than a Quadrajet.

Thank you for insights and suggestions!
