I hope to get one for my next project. Would like a Warlock or Lil Red Express.

Yes I have had two 69s one 318 and one 383. I wish I still had one now. The Sweptlines are like my first gen Charger. Either people love or hate them not a lot of between. I would like to have a A100 also.

I have a 1980 that's basically a run stand for a 69 440.

Awfully fun to drive.

Wish it had a non rusted to death cab.

1980 is actually the last year for the roof and fenders/doors that started in 1972.

Here is a pic of mine. Bought new in 78. Over 500K miles over the years. Restified it in 2012. One of 74 built with the 440 engine

Is that the later 83-91 trim on the bottom?

I drive a 1968 1/2 ton 2 wd slant six three on tree as my shop truck whenever I can get around with the 2 wd.

Nope. Stock 78 SE trim. 90's vintage mirrors, Roll pan, Dual exhaust, Wheels, Gear Vendor, high back seats, Bed cover and CD player are only upgrades from factory stock.

pretty sure his truck is an Adventurer model/Trim package.
ill post a pic of it up close, its the early trim not the later squarenose trim package.
btw,a factory 440 truck, nice to see in such good shape!
ty for the pics of all the cool trucks,
even the amc jeep gladiator.

I’ve got a 70 sweptline. I bought it for the 440 that’s in it. But now that it’s in the shop, I think I’m going to keep it together. Use it for a farm truck. My 11 year old wants to fix it up for him to drive to school. It’s rusty, but if that’s what he truly wants we’ll do it. I have taken the camper shell off. Looks a lot better.

What kind of mileage do you get with the GV and normal highway driving empty?

My first pickup was a 69 back in 73. The teen needed valve stem seals really bad lol. Next was a 74, then a 78, and then had 4 79's but not at the same time. Next was a 90, 93 diesel and now my 97 diesel. There was also two A100's along the line too.

Don't remember what year the Club Cab came back but I had a pretty nice 1990 3/4 ton with the 'round top' cab. The regular cabs were the square top but the Clubs were round and were built in Mexico.

Had a 79 D300 Adventurer SE single wheel Club Cab that was dressed out like yours except my was all black with chrome spokes and 12.50x33 BFG Sport Truck radials. Wished I had kept that one!

reason i created this thread,im looking at buying a 78 2wd longbed.
318 2bbll,727 trans, unsure of rear looks like the bigger 9-1/4?
body is in Vgc and has 2 packages, the Adventurer and the Prospector.
truck is loaded for its gen, cruise tilt deluxe interior and so forth.
heavy duty radiator,a/c,power brakes, bright trim and grillwork.
guy wants a grand for it,bad transmission and some rust on bed fender edges.
92k original miles.

any opinions?
heres pics.

I have had one 66' swept line with a 383. Two 79' Ramchargers, one with a 440', one with a 360. One 77' Ramcharger with a 400 4 speed.
