Curious how many are obsessed with your particular like of (old muscle cars) that you own 2 or more, love to see pics also. I have an opportunity to buy back my high school ride from the early 80's. It's a 71 RR 383 air grabber, spoilers, EV2 with the orange/black buckets, floor AT, tuff wheel, 15x7's, discs and canopy top. All there and all the parts are the originals. Had a repaint and needs done again but fairly solid. Does need proper quarter repair, and original motor long gone. Thing is I have a fully restored 71 EV2 RR now and would mean selling the 82 Vette. Value wise the RR is worth more than the Vette..I hate decisions. Lets see what you all have and anyone have any opinions ?

One is plenty for me, but if I could, I would.

Close to having a fleet.

far Bel II 4D is a parts car for the Bel II wagon in the middle.
Both are WW1 A/C cars.

My 66 Coronet is extremely similar to my brother's 66 Satellite-
Both YY1 medium bronze, both big block cars, both A/C cars.
I wish mine was done so we could park them side by side.

Nothing against Corvettes, but buy your old car back! That would be sooooo cool. If I could find my old '71 Charger from high school I would jump on it in a second....even with a 318 and tiny rear end.

I had owned two 2007 Shelby GT500s
Both white/Blue Stripes
Sold one to a guy in North Dakota
Have 1 left, 200 miles on her

Got twins.
Likes them so much that I built two of the same car.
Pulled one out of a trailer park the other came out of a junk yard.
Been driving both for 20 years now.
People see them and figure I bought them.
Where's the fun in that?

I know I should. I have any spare part I need for it also.

You built 2 cars the same, you didn't mix it up a little and do them differently ? I think that's obsession lol.

The Road Runner I have now is almost a clone of my first one, but ownership of them had a 45 year gap, so I don't think that qualifies.

Screw the Vette and buy back your youth! You have an opportunity most of us can only dream of. Don't waste it.

"onlyone" has two of the same thing?

Pretty sure that's a screen name violation.

We started a "rule" years ago, can't own the same thing twice. Now, there are slight exceptions, such as, if we had a '72 Charger, we could then get a '66 - '70, since they are different body styles. The "rule" has worked well, and has been fun in that we always had to put some effort into what we bought next.

Does a 70 RR and a 70 Satellite count? Did that twice.

I have two 70 Chargers. Would love to mixed it up abit with a 68 or 69 Charger but it was too good of a deal to pass up on the second 70' Charger price wise and I was told to come and get it and pay whenever I can with no interest.

My first car was a 71 chally. When i sold it i missed it so much i bought another. Different shades, but both triple green 318's.

One is WAY plenty for me. That '71 really was the type of car I wanted when I bought my '66 Satellite. But my '66 had all sorts of mods that I would have done, plus a 500" fairly fancy motor. The '71's are a neat looking car with a ton of potential. If only....

Most recently

I had 2 68 RR's both RM23 cars at onetime
1 was silver/black & mostly stripped down for weight
& a street-beast/racecar 700+hp
the other is my current 68 RR LL1 car
I was buying 2 of everything for a while
I'm on my 13th RR currently, my favorite Plymouth

I had 2 - 99 Dakota's 1 R/T 2wd & 1 SLT 4wd
I sold the R/T 2wd a while back, man that was a fun/fast little truck

when I was much younger;
I had multiple cars sometimes of the same models,
not always same years
I had a 68 Sport Sat. 383 4spd, my mom's 1st new car
a 69 red & a 68, 70 RR's both blue's
all at the same time

way back when
I had 5 gen 2 chargers at the same time, all Calif. & A/C cars
2 - 68's both R/T's both 440 4bbls, 1 - 4 speed - dana
1 - console/auto, both black vinyl tops,
1 GG1/black (my 1st Charger), 1 Gold/black
2 - 69's both R/T's both black vinyl tops, both 440 cars
both bucket seats & consoles/autos, one Green & 1 Red
1 S/E-R/T package (R4 red one IIRC)
1 - 70 Charger 500, 440 4bbl auto, white, black interior,
buckets & no console column shift (strange optioned car)
they were cheap 'then', I bought them any/every chance I could...

I wish I could buy my org. 68 Charger R/T GG1 back,
I got when I was 15 1974, from a neighbor lady up the street for $350
the guy I sold it to in 1987-ish {?} totaled it, it was crushed
I've had 12 gen 2 Charger's over the years...

I had a quite few Brand X cars of the same years
or same models of different years too
lots of Camaro's & Firebird's/Trans Am's/GTO's/442's/Vette's
depending on the year, or what whim I had at the time
& many were racecars, or bought to clean up, fix & sell...
I usually kept them for a while 1st, get some use out of them...

I did work for a bunch of auto dealerships,
I always being alerted to & I was finding & buying cars...

I had room & a big, nice 5 car garage (I wish I still had)
& a 64,000sqft warehouse (I also wish I still had)
I had plenty of room to store them properly, not like a hoarder :poke:
& not like the tiny 20' x 20' garage & a couple of car ports,
that I have now...

Some I'd just buy for parts cars, or to make a racecar etc.,
it was relatively cheap back then, they were just old' used cars
& usually really cheap, often a little as $500-$1500...
Nobody re-popped stuff like they do today...
Many I bought to clean, fix up & sell, to fund my racing addiction,
it was the only way I could afford to do it...

Yep counts !!! My buddy would be in love with you. He has to B5 70 Roadrunners, both sitting in pieces. One in pieces the other with a dented back end so sitting. All I'll say is high performance car, low performance driver and a road sign lol.

Along with my 65 I have 2 63 Plymouths. A Belvedere and a Fury. Both someday projects.
