Anyone use 68-70 AMD door hinges?

Mine are pretty worn out, saggy and the indents for partial door open. Do the AMD hinges bolt up and work or do they take a lot of work to align correctly?

In searching some here I found I missed out on a member who retired that used to rebuild them. In that search there were comments about those kits not really solving the problem?
 
I have used a couple of pin kits from Resto Rick with no issues. I have heard that they are a bit better quality than the parts store bushing kits. Only thing with Rick's is that you do need to buy a reamer from him if you don't own one.

I did the test fitting for those,they fit and work well. I test fitted them on my 70 V code Road Runner and my 70 Charger R/T V code cars.
 
The AMD and Goodmark fit, they just don't last a long time with constant use.
Lower grade import steel used. Taiwan.
The pin bushing kits are parts that are just cobbled together. Never such a thing as a real pin bushing kit to go on a set of hinges that were not designed to take the bushings,
More than drilling holes. So the hinges end up in worse shape, no longer able to rebuild them.

The Resto Rick kit is correct and uses an all steel, oversized pin. No bushings.
Contact him about pin size before ordering, He is who I am referring all my customers to.
Mopar lower hinges were redesigned to take bushings in the eighties.
Here are some photos of bushing kit repairs after a while and the bushings fall out. I just tossed them in the scrap bucket.
On the right, my completely rebuilt door hinge with oversized pins properly fitted.
Will last longer than 50 more years.

Is MoparLeo still doing them? I just got mine back two weeks ago but heard thats it and he retired?

So there was no one to train to take over! If not, what a shame. I’ve been working on Mopars since the early 80s and am seeing many talented people retiring and no one taking over.

It’s been many years but sometime in the 80-90s I was working on my 67 Coronet and did mine using this article from a Mopar magazine. Does any know who this was in the article?

It sounds like MoparLeo was doing it right. Is anyone else following his procedure?
 
I checked Rick Kreuziger's web site and he doesn't list the rebuild kit anymore. I emailed him and he replied with a link to a kit at Megaparts for the 1971-74 B-body. Problem is, it uses bushings for the lower hinges. I would rather rebuild mine with the oversized pins. Anyone have success finding those? I believe they are 3/8". I guess my only option is the AMD hinges, but they don't look correct for a 74 B-body. Do they uses bushings on their lowers?
