Are drum brake spindles side specific?

Hey guys, I'm cleaning up my front spindles and was wondering if the spindles themselves are interchangeable from side to side. They are for 11 inch drum brakes on a '68 Charger. Thanks!

I think they are the same for either side.

Isn't the tie rod end on the spindle?

Nope its on the lower balljoint mount. Which bolts to the lower part of the spindle. Here is a Dulsich? writeup.. You can see them installed. Not the same car but they should be the same. http://www.hotrod.com/articles/1971-dodge-challenger-project-suspension-rehab/
