I've been going to that show for decades and didn't know they were there.


That saddle tank out front obviously has had the tender added for "aesthetic" reasons, sine the water supply is carried over the boiler, and the tender is therefore, not needed.
 
Don't forget it has to carry the wood or coal somewhere. That's BIG for a saddle tank loco.

I suppose if one had a large ranch or farm you could totally put it to work!

I would hate to be the one to bend the rail. Standard gauge rail ain't available in very light rail sizes. lol That's why narrow gauge is better for smaller spaces.
 
there's a couple of those Plymouth engines rotting in the weeds near Washington Pa right along Rt18
 
Do they still make rallye decal sets for those? Are the SE models that much different?
 
This was in Zepherhylls,Fla. While there for 4 days we also took a short ride to Ocala for the Garlits Drag Racing Museum.
What a place that is. Like a kid in a candy store, i wanted all of them !
 
For future reference, Garlits has a great Mopar show the first week in November. Yes it's still very nice weather then. Great swapmeet and 2 days of great cars...........
 
i use to live beside the old factory and yard were they built them...its still there and theres a bunch of trains every were in plymouth ohio...its a pretty cool area
