I'm looking for a more or less "quick and dirty" way to refinish the arm rest bezels for my 65 Belvedere. Basically, a not so bad looking chrome paint, in a rattle can.
Thanks in advance for your input.

There are three or four brand name companies that make a very good rattle can
paints that look like plastichrome! Duplicolor is one, I think. They're out there.

VHT won second place in the "chrome" spray shootout (out of 12 products, IIRC).

It's MUCH easier to find than the product that won first place.

Do you have a link to that comparison

You could also paint all 4 a matching, or contrasting interior color. Mine are car color on my '65 Coronet Sedan...

Using the Search feature here at FBBO will also produce the answers you seek! Good Luck

I haven't tried the VHT, but the Rustoleum Bright Finish Chrome (not aluminum) is pretty good. Check out the ash tray painted with rustoleum below. Not a perfect chrome and of course the ashtray has seen better days, but looks nice and shiny. Besides, its super cheap on amazon so worth a try.
