Since I'm out of work I figured I'd do some artwork on the air cleaner for my slant 6.

love the Ratfink stuff

a great tribute to Big Daddy Ed Roth

Thanks all. Nothing like recycling an old stock beat up air cleaner. I probably should have done more bodywork to it but too late now.

First, sorry to hear you are out of work. Hope things work out.

My skill is turning a wrench left or right - and that 'aint so hard! Cool skills!!!

Big dady Ed Roth did a caricature line drawing of my
49 business coupe, when it had the Blown Enderle FI Milodon Hemi
on a tee shirt

could you do something like that ?

I'm not really in the market for art work
I probably can't afford it either...

but would like to see it in color
it was emerald green, with bronze/nickle trim, dark tinted glass
a big flat wing off the back of the deck-lid, w/adj. kinard/wick
& polished 5 spoke Pro-Star wheels

I remember getting one done by Roach designs back in the day at the Car show in the city here. They had a booth and were airbrushing ones similar to what Roth was doing back in the 60s. Ive tried my hand at it. It takes a good imagination to make it work. Im sure the OP could do it from what he has shown.

 yeah he looks like he has the talent

Ed Roth did that one, while I waited/watched him at the
ol' Oakland Roadster Show back in like 1985-ish,
I think it took him like 20 min.'s or something
for like $20 (IIRC)
I think he put it into his collection too
it was a little different design, than the one he drew for me
so no copy or art infringements

:thankyou:

I had older brothers and friends with older brothers so growing up in the 70s I would see a lot of Big Daddy's stuff. I loved it.
