Looking for a 68-70 B-Body ash tray. Swing open not the drop/slide style. Looks like this. All I need is the spring tab.

Is that spring tab used in other designs? I have numerous A and 1971+ B body ash trays completely UNworthy of use in restored cars but no dedicated 69-70 B body spares.

Should have one. You just want the metal insert not the whole assy correct?
If the tab looks the same it might work. Mine is new never used and the cheap Chinese tab snapped in half. I bought it years ago and no sense asking the seller for help.
That is correct.
Looking at pictures the A-Body and newer B-body sure look to be different. Thanks for the nice generous offer.

Thanks. They are different and would be tough to make them even close to work. You earned an A for effort.

Yes. You could carefully grind the two rivets off and send me the spring tab.
I can just send you the whole thing and you can use what you need. No charge. If you can pm me with a shipping address I'll get that out to you.
