Using it full strength parts would be a good cleaner if emersed in a container of it. I surface removed rust with a wire brush near the inner fender. Only the tight space wouldn't allow me to clean it better. On a cast-iron block, it literally bled rust out of the porous metal as I scrubbed it. Caution it etched the paint on a part I cleaned so read the directions as it comes full strength and you need to dilute it on a lighter cleaning application.
