I thought 68-70 back seat frames were all the same. Is 68 different? Could someone do some measuring for me. The pics are from @Charles Cook upper back seat 70 RR. Can you verify Mikes measurement please. Thanks Dave

bottom loops get a tab bent over in them, no boltsDid you measure the center-to-center distance of the threaded mounting holes used for securing the seat back loops?
Thanks Wayne Im close to those measurements. Are you loops straight? Mine are bent. This might be my problem. The following measurements were taken from the back side of the original rear seat back of my 1970 Dodge Charger 500:
53-13/16" from loop center to loop center. Note: Dimension 'A' in the @Alaskan_TA sketch.
26-1/4" from top of seat to end of driver side loop.
26" from top of seat to end of passenger side loop.
58-1/2" base width.
Note: Dimension 'B' in the @Alaskan_TA sketch.
55" top width.
Note: Dimension 'D' in the @Alaskan_TA sketch.
I did not record measurements for dimensions 'C' & ' E'.

The above sketch was lifted from:
1968 - 70 Charger rear seat back dimensions?

Did your 70 not come with a backseat?Well I will do a thread on this. Upper back seat for 70 is Yep 1 year only. 68/69 top will not work. Now I need to find an upper frame.![]()
I can measure them tomorrow.
Well I will do a thread on this.
It was the only thing missing in the car.Did your 70 not come with a backseat?
No need for it.I'll provide measurement after you start the new thread.
