I have a piece of beltline molding I acquired in a parts lot I have no idea what it fits or even what it came on originally. I have a 69 Roadrunner hardtop that looks like no way it works on that. I also have a 68 Roadrunner post car that it will fit on but looks like it would be about half an inch or so short of what it should be. Any idea's??

Photos of the shape and any tapered ends and length/width measurements would help us help you.

My recollection was off. It didn't come close to fitting the post car and fit the hardtop car but a little short. Total length is 24". Length from the end to where it meets the curved piece is 19 7/8". Curved piece is 4 1/8". Width on the end is 13/16" and width where it meets the curved part is 1 3/16". Didn't measure how short is was but I'm thinking around 5/8". Let know if you need more info.

Definitely a little short on a Plymouth. Could this be for a Dodge??

Hardtop vs coupe?

They seem to be too short for a Plymouth hardtop and a coupe. Do they make these for a hardtop??? I have a set on my 68 RR post car. These seem to short for that so I was figuring they must be for a Dodge. They came in a parts lot and I don't have a clue what they fit.

Looks like the stainless trim for a '68 post car. There is also a piece that covers the post.

OK. After looking at some stuff for sale on Ebay I have figured out mine is Dodge but not Charger, but it could be post or hardtop but they are a different length. Does anyone have a Coronet or Superbee Hardtop or sedan that they could measure the overall length at the longest point or the length of the rail from the end to the seam where it connects to the curved part. My total length is 24". from the end to the seam is 19 7/8". The curved end is 4 1/8".
