Belvedere steering column

I have a Belvedere floor shift steering column 64 or 65 I was told. I'm restoring the column and need to know if the rubber steering shaft seal
at the end of the tube is the only thing that keeps the shaft centered , or is there a bottom bearing like the A bodies.

correct..no bearing but people have put one in.. some sort of custom deal my end centers just fine
