bench seat different from 68-70?

Is the 70 seat the sme as a 69 if I change the uphostery, or will the only years that work be the 68-69? FWIW I am needing a 69 bench.

The 70 bench should be the same.

70 seat had the release lever at the top of the seat and 68-69 had it at the bottom.(I think)

I agree. Basic frame is similar, but 70 moved the release up near top of the seat.

I have a friend in Detroit area with several that will work for you, I shipped a `68 bench in pieces through Greyhound and it wasn't teribly expensive. Let me know and I will put you in touch with him directly.

yes 70 has a slide lever at the top 70 only
