im currently running a raider M/T cheeter slick on my 62 dodge its a 8.20 15 and a coker tire silvertown front 7.10-15 im going to a 15-5 front rim and a 15-8 back rim with 4" ofset(4.5 old) which size would be better 255-60-15 or 275-60-15 im leaning on getting M/T and havnt checked the fronts but would like the same brand in front

Right now I'm running 275-60-15 on my 63 Belvedere.
No clearance problems at all.BUT I am using 15x7 with a 4 1/4'' backspace.
You may have tight upper/outer wheel house clearance. Also depends where your rear height is set.
I run 215-75-15 on the front with a 5'' rim. No problem.

I can only tell what I've got.
I THINK I have a 65 8 3/4 under my 62. I have 255/70x15s on 15x8 Mopar steelies, with 4"backspace, cause the 275x70s I wanted to run would have rubbed the fender.
I also have 28x10.5 slicks on 15x8 1/2 with 4 7/8 bs that have .300 spacers to work.
If I were you, I'd try to use 4.5 backspace. If you are stuck on 4"bs, I would probably go with the smaller tire.
(My slick is basically the same as a 295/55x15.)

what brand tires

My local tire shop carries Hercules that are on the front.
My cars don't see much road time so I don't spend allot because they age out way before wear out.
Goodyear drag radials on the rear.
The Goodyears were given to me as a gift.
