Thanks. That blue Dart GTS is a better-than-new restoration. Flawless. Weather was crappy. My Roadrunner will be wearing new shoes soon. See pic. 8x17" front, 9x17 rear. Cast aluminum

Not sure yet, but rears will likely be Mickey Thompson or Nitto of some variety. I had an exciting experience with Nitto drag radials in the rain on the interstate on a Conquest TSi I used to have...lots of grass flying and some interesting thoughts I'm sure from the other cars that saw me careen into the median..not looking to repeat that, especially in my 70 Roadrunner, but looking for decent bite at the track until I can get some dedicated slicks. Size-wise: the biggest rear rubber that the rear wheels and fenders can hold, maybe 295-somethings?

Agree with the above post regarding the blue Dart...flawless best describes the restoration.

I started this thread in 2016...
I went today, but it was raining at my house and there was a 90% chance of rain at 1pm today so I didn't bring my Roadrunner. No real rain at the show from 10-2 when I left, go figure. Went back home about 1 hour away and...RAIN.
Nice cars again. I talked with Herb McCandless again. Great guy.

By the way, I wound up with Toyo Proxes TQ Drag radials 315/35/17s and they fit GREAT.
