My grand daughter is more interested in cars than my grandsons.

Same granddaughter and car in both pictures? Time is flying!

Good for her...

I had 2 of 3 girls (I raised 4, 1 my niece) got into cars/trucks
the twins Rebecca doesn't like cars really,
just $$$ they represent
the other twin Rachel loves 4x4s, trucks & Jeeps,
especially older Sr5 Toyota Trucks,
I gave her my old 85 SR5 4x4 as her first car
(well over 350k miles, on it's second engine & rear end,
she still owns it & takes care of it, mostly herself
)
Jessica, the youngest, loves Jeeps & Hotrods (30' 40's)
all my girls except Sabrina 'my niece', married car guys
good men, good family guys, that also love trucks & cars...
IMO their kids will be 4x4 kids, it seems like...

the 2 boys, one my nephew Keith (I raised thru HS & College)
he's only 15 years younger than I am, we are very close...
Keith shows interest in my RR & he likes cars, especially day 2 cars
& racecars, he'd help me at the track often, when he wasn't doing sports
but; o
On a High School American History teacher's/basket ball coaches
especially ball-breaking schedule & salary
(but he will be an administrator soon)
& raising a family, 2 girls & wife, house payments etc.
1 Ashley just going to college @15 y/o, smart girl, expensive girl :poke:
not really into cars much, she could care less as long as it starts & drives
& another girl 5-6 y/o Sydney, smart 'as all get out', energy to burn
she loves cars, she loves Hotwheels, better than any toy
& she wants to play with my diecast models all the time...
She will be a car gal I believe...
(she reminds me of Rachel, when she was lil')

I may do a Jr Dragster for Sydney, dad's all in, so is his wife Marsha...
I was going to build her a go-cart, Keith said not right now...
Keith calls me for advice on what he's working on
he tries hard, he's a decent wrench, mostly just stock part replacements
but he's doing it...

& my son James, he really isn't a big car guy,
he did go to many races with me & worked hard (like all my kids did)
But;
he's a lifer US Navy Diver
he started out with a Mitsubishi Elipes Turbo 2000-ish, still has it
put some different wheels & tires, better shocks swaybars etc.
so it will handle well...
But very lil' miles put on it, he's always deployed elsewhere, it just sits
but he won't sell it, it's his baby...

Yep, same baby girl. I didn’t think it would be a good idea to hop up on the hood for the second photo. Lol. But I would let her if she wanted. But she’s a good girl , she wouldn’t do that anyway. She loves the car too.

yep Mike they grow up way to fast.

Great that you have those pictures! Some of us wish we had pic's of the good ole days.

Time is flying by very quick. Savour those moments. Thanks for sharing
