What was the original factory color, painted black or anodized gold?

I don't know about your particular car, but I have a 63 Chrysler 300 and it's black (satin black).

This is the one in my 64 Fury. I doubt it has ever been changed. (Although it looks like it needs attention now.) I bought it from the original owner's family in 1987 with 90K miles. I have never changed it.
