Fellas,
68 Charger, which is correct booster mounting. Bolted to the firewall or with a stand off bracket like I have in my car?
I’ve seen it both ways.

Theyre all mounted to the firewall unless it's a power disc hemi car.

Yes, unnamed and unmarked booster with a Wilwood master.
All this junk will have to be torn out. Next project on the list.
I’ll see if I can I find a US booster, so far all Chinese.
 
You can source and piece something
together that is more than adequate
to accomplish your braking needs.
Do some homework and don't get
caught up in the big name game.

The fronts are Ford Granada (used
because I already had them)
The booster is a dual diaphram used
on a mid 80's Chrysler New Yorker.
The rear disc are from an '06 Jeep
TJ. (intragal emergency brake).
Powered by a slightly modified 440.
The brakes work flawlessly with a
cost at a fraction of what Dr. Diff
may charge. Not in any way knocking
what they offer. Just trying to
emphasize there are cheaper
alternatives that may work just as
well.

With my skill level and already having the new master I’ll probably stick with standard replacement of the booster.
Also hoping the shop didn’t mess with the brake pedal.

No problem. Please bear in mind
that my installation and design are
completely custom.
Just trying to encourage exploration
of alternive options. Hope you get
your issues resolved.

Well I thought I was heading towards a good and correct booster install. While removing the old booster I find this crap that my shop installed. He made a real mess for me. He tried to hook it up Chevy style with clevis pin and welding a rod coupling.
I have the correct bell crank linkage.
I thought once I disconnected the brake pedal all this linkage in the picture would come out.
As I pull out on the rod it is spring loaded.
Any ideas? I’m trying not to undo anymore parts under the dash
