While clearing out my garage she got a little day light on her. This was a helpful reminder of what I have waiting on me to get my *** into gear.

I did the same thing recently. Pulled mine out to clean the garage out just to get it dirty again. Been getting lots of work done on her since being home from work.

I actually welded up some trim holes on the 67 fender that didnt need to be there for the 66 tonight. I was bored.. I need to get her flipped around in the garage so I can access the passenger side easier. After I do that I can work on the other quarter patch. Limited garage size limits what I can get done. I have already swapped in the 66 headlight bucket and now Im just getting it so that it looks like the other one. One thing is unknown the passsenger side fender has holes for a fender mounted turn signal the driver side doesnt. The passenger side didnt go to the car either so I guess I will weld up those holes as well. We have a 2 week shelter in place thing going on now starting tomorrow. So I guess I will make some progress in the down time.

Good work!!!! Our “2weeks” is now on its 4th week here in California. Plan ahead and get what you need for a month or so.

I too have got something done on my Coronet! Working from home and reduced wages give me time but no cash to dump into her. I was able to pick up some leather seats from an 8 year old BMW that are still in great condition and decided to make em work for now. Built frames to match holes in floor and got shifter mounted also. Going to tackle the front windows since my felts came in. I guess these seats will be in her for the first spin around the block since I stripped her.

Getting some door patches done. I think I’ll eventually get new doors. These are pretty bad across the bottom.

I'm trying to figure out how to tackle the rust in the trunk lid.. Its down at the seam and would be really hard to fab up. I was thinking of hitting it with rust killer and seam sealer. I think the fabrication is beyond my abilities. However I have pulled off some weird stuff before.

It’s a tough spot to work on. I figured if I could get the outer skin looking good the inner side doesn’t matter as much. My car is going to be a driver not a trailer queen. I basically poured rust converter down inside after scraping away all of the loose rust.

Well I made a slight bit of progress.. I need to finish the welds but need MO gas... Here is the passenger side quarter panel repair.
