Correct, there were about 350 sold with the option. Olds 12 bolt was not as strong as the Chevy 12 bolt or Pontiac. I've seen Pontiac's launch so hard and often it would put a bend in the axles, tires would wobble. Thought it was bent wheels. Pulled the axles and rolled them on the ground only to find out, the problem was the axles.
