bumper jack paint

I'm trying to restore the bumper jack for my 66 Satellite. Does anyone know what paint or other treatment I need for the mast?

nicksgarage.com is a good site for jack hook identification but doesn't have any information on mast finishes.

Mast finish on every mopar I've have has been a metal finish. Meaning....they are unpainted. The base tends toward gloss black for B Bodies and gray for E. Agent Silver may not be a bad choice for mast color if you really want to pain it.

Masts look galvanized to me.

As far as the Masts some are Galvanized, Some are painted a silver and some are Cad. plated all depending on the year and the type during that year in 66 you can have a tubr type or a Y mast...
