I want to pull my engine, because I'm a noob, I want to mark all wires and cables so reassembly is easier, so I don't forget where something goes.

Have you found a kit or a good way to mark cables?

Masking tape tabs and a sharpie and lots of pictures ahead of time.
Also a service manual with wiring diagram in case.
And if all that fails just ask here for help.

Masking tape and a sharpie is cheaper, but I’ve got a box of manila tags also. The tags are more durable.

        Take some photos too.

Make sure the get the accessorys and brackets. A/C car bracketry can be confusing.

There really ain't that many wires on our old Mopars to screw up. But when I have done jobs in the last few years on late model stuff with lots of wires and connections, I take pics with my digital camera. Take pics of every connection before you remove the wires or hoses, and take second pics with the stuff disconnected and hanging near where they need to re-connect. This can really be helpful when the engine has been out, or the harness removed etc. And especially if the re-assembly may be a few weeks or more away....

A variety of different size zip lock bags is a good idea for the variety of nuts, bolts, clips, small assemblies that have to come off for awhile. Not surprising I’ve spent hours puzzling over a bolt or clip and where it came from when I fail to bag and label it. Happened when I removed the console tach on my 66 and laid the big bolt and spring aside. Took me better part of week before it dawned on me what they were from. I’ve started putting strips of masking tape on the baggies to write the description on - and usually the tape will peel off later allowing me to re-use them another day. I tape and label wire ends/plugs too.

Yes, I have it now. Pretty solid, but it does need some thing. It's got 4 wheel drums, so I want to change that. It's got a 727 transmission and seems fine. But the rear ends growls a lot, so I'll have to have that changed, it's an open diff, so putting in a sure-grip will be needed.

Got yourself a project car. Lots of updates and fixes on the way. Fall Fling in Woodley is coming up in October, unless LA puts the kibosh on it again.. Start making a shopping list. Also MATS LV in September.
