I have a degree in English Literature. I remember cutting this cartoon out of the paper back in 1992. Still have it around (somewhere). It makes me laugh every time I read it. I still quote the mother at my kids all these years later.

Calvin and Hobbes are awesome - have all his books and never tire of them. Sometimes I'll see asituation that reminds me of one of the strips and I'll start snickering or laughing.
