This last edition covers performance grinder's cam sorted by duration at .006 lift
and comparable grinds where .006 lift data is available. I do have cam-doc data from years ago but can't find it.
Comp, Lunati, Howards, etc are following
Crane, Cam Dynamics and the Production cam grinders Melling, Sealed Power, Elgin, Wolverine
who rate by the SAE method or .004 are here:

about a 50 % difference
at .004 or SAE Jones is 264 and DC 260 is 284 That's about a 10 degree earlier intake close- IC is really important for low compression motors

Exhaust lobes are not shown on shelf cams

Comp XE and XFI are .842 lobes XE4X4 are .904 lobes note less intensity ( and I suspect more area)

and would be easier on the valvetrain

Comp shelf cams intake closed @.006 shown I bold would change if you changed centerlines or LCA

intake closed point would be very similar with other cams at same intake duration

HM Howard VD Lunati Voodoo all “shelf cams” if ex and lca fit your needs

recent check confirmed eventhough Lunati exactly same lift, duration and .050 as for a chevy the MOPAR had more duration at .200 and I suspect meaningful more area “under the curve”

If you need Lunati .200 call

Jones asymmetrical max area lobe is extremely fat 250-275 lift



compare Howard universal vs 904 at 260 duration @.006 about 8 bigger @.050

That list only goes up to the DC 260 area and I extracted it from my spredsheet basically for input into the stock late 400 and 440 and low compression small block builders-
there is a wide difference in seat timing available
next Dodger game I'll take a crack at the larger cams
