I agree with the Fox snake. I always called them Pine snakes as a kid, but learned something tonight researching this post.

I remember watching an episode of Steve Irwin and they were talking about invasive species (cane toad) and how many browns and tiger snakes had been lost to them and the result was a rat population boom. They were at a farm and could not take a step without stepping on them...me personally I like snakes and catch the at the farm all the time...but if it is poisionous I will remove it because of the kidssnakes are there for a purpose , just think of all the rats /mice there would be if not for them . leave them alone and they'll leave you alone , that's coming from someone that lives in a country with 20 of 25 of the worlds most deadly snakes
