BoinkI'm not sure what you're thinking...I'm referring to a guy who would boink anything female with a heartbeat making a commercial about "sleep apparatus". I don't even want to think about what kind of product that is.![]()
Hey, I'm not sure what I'M thinking most of the time !Shatner was in pretty damn good shape back then, consider how many people worked out in the 60's.
It cracks me up when people talk about high achievers and say "he is an asshole in person."
Shows why most are NOT high achievers.

Plus Ripley looks pretty good as a blonde.I've never met him directly, just been in the audience at a ST convention a LONG time ago. I'm telling you what people have told me who have met him in person. I HAVE been to Leonard Nimoys office and met with him in person. I was told he is an asshole but they took that back because they got him confused with the guy who played Q. Mr. Nimoy is a very nice guy, a gentleman. His mother is also very nice which may be where he got it from. I've also met Dwight Schultz who missed his calling as a comedian. Very nice man, good natured and a conservative.
Many of the cast and crew are on record describing what a jerk Shatner was. It's well documented that he had script writers remove a lot of lines for Spock because he was jealous of the massive following of this character, way more than for Kirk.
Much if not all of what is in Galaxy Quest is a parody of the whole ST phenomenon. It IS the best ST movie ever made.
I don't know about you, but as a Trekkie, I recall looking closer at Lt. Uhura & Yeoman Rand. As well as any eye-catching female guest star.
No, but I went to a Racoon Club convention with Ralph Kramden & Ed Norton.Did you ever go to any ST conventions?

One thing I find interesting about Star Trek, is that the crew of the Enterprise travelled to the far reaches of the universe, and every alien they came across spoke perfect english, I drive to my local McDonald's and can't understand a damn thing these people are saying.
