My vote.....Holley R-3310-1, 4150 series, 780 CFM, Vacuum secondary operation. Had this combo on my old '71 Dodge Charger 500, 440 cubic inch, WP23U1A****** 727B trans, 3.55 gear, 489 case rear. Ran extremely well, decent 10-12 MPG, great throttle response .

I’m a carter guy so I vote for a 440 AVS can’t beat reliability and how well they run.. I think a good PN is 4741S.. not cheap to buy or restore, rebuild is less than a resto.. Many good ideas and you never know what works best, if you can find some to try from your buddies don’t be bashful. Good luck!
