Hello people of the earth. I've been wondering my brains out that what are those two free pipes for? Its an Holley 12r-5592b apparently from 67 coronet. My 62 Belvedere dont have anything to plug in to those. But I'm missing the vacuum for heating mecanism so could that smaller be a tube for that. I used to get the vacuum for heating from intake manifold but know with the new coronet engine that I swapped to my Belvedere that hole in the intake manifold is occupied by a hose to the carb.

The large "pipe" on the right normally goes to the charcoal vapor canister. It may be left open. It is a vent for fuel vapors. No harm will come with it open.
The smaller vacuum pipe should have been hooked up to something requiring vacuum. An emissions device probably.
That should be capped off.

What year vehicle?

Hi. Thanks man. The motor and the carb is from 67 coronet ( or thats I was told when I got it) and at the moment it's in a 62 belvedere. So could I plug my heating/air blowing system or whatever it is called in to that smaller tube?

Heating/air blower system?

The small vacuum port should be plugged/capped off if it is not in use or has no use. That simple.

Do you have something that requires vacuum to operate? Then try that small port.

I dont know the correct word for the thing but I'm missing the vacuum for the cell(??) that defines where the air inside of the car is blowing for example if I want heating for the rear window I push a button and hear a sound of moving things and the air starts to blow for the window instead of my legs coz that works with a vacuum. But yes this clears it, I just take the vacuum from the smaller tube. Thanks man.

Ahhhhhhh!

Your heating and defrost controls are vacuum operated! Then that is what I would use.
My '79 Magnum is like that. Everything works off of vacuum.
