The last week has been insane!! 2 fridays ago we reassembled my engine,Monday repaired the headers which are SHOT and advanced the cam 2.5*.Tues afternoon reinstalled the engine and fired it up,,took if around the block and striped the street then loaded the car back on my rollback and put it back in my garage.Wed afternoon spent over 3 hours putting the mobile tool box together and cleaning the car. Left Thursday at 10am for the 3.5 hour drive that took 6 hours:mad:.Made it through NJ and into PA on RT 81 when it started to drizzle and we pulled over to cover the blower scoop with a contractor bag and a few laps of blue paper tape.:jackoff:
We rolled out and in minutes the sky opened up.:steering:
Not even 5 minutes later Brian{ following me} calls and said some blue paper tape just bounced off his windsheild :poke:. What felt like 10 minutes in severe rain we stopped under a bridge and I reinstalled the bag and secured it WELL! Finally made it to the motel, checked in and laid down for a few minutes:praying:

I was vending and shopping for parts most of the weekend. We were looking for a Plymouth emblem for the hood of a 70 GTX. The reproductions have been back ordered for two years. I found one in nice shape for twenty bucks! We got to eat dinner with Chris Jacobs, and Dave Rea, they sat at our table. They are real Mopar guys who are down to earth, and good to talk with.
