So im driving along and out of the corner of my eye sitting on the edge of a field next to an old barn I see a car and I say is that a mopar sure looks like it. So I decide to get out go over and take a look just couldn't help myself of course I almost tore my shin off when I tripped on barbed wire lol i was in too much of a hurry. So when I got to it I could see if was pretty bad off but still very cool so I snapped some pics of it the interior was almost perfect except for the drivers seat which was pretty torn up from an animal or something. The odometer only had 34,000 miles on the clock but the engine bay looked some squirrels have been living on it. fury1.jpgfury2.jpgfury3.jpgfury4.jpgfury5.jpgfury6.jpgfury7.jpg

crazy part is this thing has been sitting here prolly since I was a kid it was last inspected in 86

The chrome trim looked pretty good though.

That's a really cool picture.......

I'm with Prop;that is a way-cool pic. That's also a pity;seeing a Fury III rotting away. Should be pulling a trailer with a racing B-body on it to the track in style. Or better yet, cruisin' the 'vard with a car full of honeys. Looks like nature has stated reclamation.

Yeah man, that's a coupe and a great pic I agree. Where in upstate NY? I've got some friends in the Rhinebeck area and those pics remind me that I need to get my *** out there to see them. Love it there!

I'm way north near lake placid I think they are trying to give that thing away.

:iamwithstupid: What a damn shame, low mileage too, It's "mother earths" ride now... I've always liked those years of Fury's.. Classic cruisers

Sad to see a car waste away like that. Those cars are a work of art!

An old Fury 3...who cares? I look at that & all I see is a pocket full of trinkets to take off of. Other than that, the rest is completely worthless.

Really? You three stooges think that old heap is a worthwhile restoration project? Just because it's old doesn't make it a collectible. Do you onion-heads have any idea how little that thing is worth in relation to what you'd have to put into it? Here's a low-mileage example & the seller is asking 12 grand or BO. I'm sure that if you waved $9,500 in his face, he'd do cartwheels in front of you.

"She's dead Jim!" does bring back some memories though.. spent two years driving to and from tech school in a '66 FuryIII.

Never said it was a worthwhile resto project Dicky. Just looks like it could cough up a lot more parts than, " a pocket full of trinkets". Someone who needed parts for a car, maybe one they are putting together for the love of the car and not a profit, would be happy to harvest a lot more than trinkets off of it. Moe
