Hey guys,

Ive been lurking for a while, but Im not a big web guy, so Im just starting this account. Im from Chicago (yeah, I know......) & have owned my fickle baby since 1987. I just got a 505" short block built by Hughes after a 20 yr old China roller rocker in my 440 failed, causing a catastrophic event. In addition, I installed a Strange S60 with hyperco leafs/Caltracs & a QA1 front suspension w/ ridetechs on all corners. Im pretty stoked to get this beast back on the road, it should be drive like a completely different car.
Bleeding the brakes today, dropping it down for a preliminary "alignment" & dropping the motor in next weekend. Ill keep you guys up to date. Thanx for accepting me into the family.

I was dead set on doing a Gerst or RMS 4 link rear suspension but most of the forum railed against me.
I needed to replace the worn out factory leaf springs so I put in Calvert split mono leaf springs, rear sliders, and Assassin traction bars with triple adjustable Viking Warrior XS shocks.
I also just replaced the entire front suspension with QA1 K-member and all QA1 components except for the upper control arms. I got SPC UCAs for greater adjustment capabilities.
