Christmas Decorations - Who's Already Done

Done

2025.jpg

I'm done. I take the 8 clear pot lights out, across the front of my house, and replace them with alternating green and red bulbs. 15 minutes, and done!

Dad assembled Santa and his deer in the late 50s. Then it sat in storage for most of those years. But, no more. He's up all year now. Probably time to get after the rest of our decorations! Haven't started.Lol

Outdoor lights are done. Fake tree next week. Back to my Island to put lights on the sailboat. 13 Dec I think. Back to the mainland for Christmas. I will leave a star shining on my Island house. Could put lights on timer, but the power can go off and ruin that plan. So the star is on full time until I return in January.

I bought one of those "star shower" things at a thrift store last week for $4.

Haven't planted it yet, but I think that makes me 50% done.

Work on them a little at a time until Im mentally/physically done. Sometimes more, sometime less, sometimes nots at all.

So far this year.

Ive been voluntold. We ( I ) will be Hanging outdoor Christmas lights today

Haven't done them in a few years

The star is shining on my Island place. The outdoors lights are up and running on Shirleys mainland place. Next week I will erect the fake tree. Shirley will decorate. The following Saturday I will be back on my Island to light up the boat. One night only. Then back to the mainland for Christmas and do bugger all, except help with the Christmas dinner, and guests. For which I am not qualified. My table manners are not good.
I learned my social graces on a rugby field. I learned my language skills from caddying for bad golfers.
