Don't know what part of VA you are from, but Tri City Plating in Elizabethton, TN (VA/TN Line) does good work.

For my money, I prefer Tri City over Paul's for bumpers. Small stuff Paul's, as Tri City doesn't do that.

I believe tri-city was $400 per each a couple of years ago. That's for your core.

Paul’s is at least $1,000 per bumper.
Also used M&P in Jeanette Pa., they were $550 per bumper.
Both looked good, when side by side Paul’s looked better. (They use different types of chrome plating). Is it worth the extra money?, that’s up to you. Just a couple of options.

If your bumpers aren't dinged and just need replating. Ever consider chrome wrap? Was thinking of trying it on a bumper I have that is a little rusty and peeling chrome. First sandblast chrome and rust off. Fill any dents and fill or use high build primer on blasted rusted areas. Get it smooth then wrap it.

I’ve used LiBrandis in Middletown, Pa. Set of 67 bumpers were $800 each about two years ago.

I think the last 66-67 B body bumpers were $450 each. Lifetime warranty to the original person, except for the usual things like you bumped something or scratched it, or used an abrasive compound on it. Also if you get it back and don't like it for most any reason they will redo it.

I have thought of looking into the spray on chrome that was on Jay Leno's show. I'm sure there is a YouTube video somewhere.

My front had holes for bumper guards and they filled those as well.

My Charger bumpers are going to them.

what you see is the difference between double plating and triple plating

I cant afford to have my modified bumpers re-chromed as the welding work would need to be touched up to get it all leveled out. I will be using either a wrap or the paint for both bumpers..

Will I was watching the fabricator at the local steel supply bend this up for me..
                      1114191147.jpg

I noticed some sheets of copper next to the wall. I asked about them and he said they are not really a steel supply but rather a supplier for metal roofing companies making gutters and returns etc..hence the copper. He showed me a window planter box he made last week, out of copper. It was clear coated so It wouldn't go green. Now I'm dreaming of places to use copper on the Express....

They are great guys, I have probably taken 25+ bumpers to them in the past 15-18 years, just for my personal cars. I have 5 sitting in the shipping boxes right now that are ready to be returned to cars, or extras. I try to keep extra 66-67 B body stuff around so there is no wait, even when it's only 4-6 weeks.
