clarify please dana rearend

Please clarify I thought only 4 spd 6 pack cars and hemi got the dana rearends,auto had the option. A friend of mine is saying all 6 pack cars got the dana, Allpar and Dodgegarage says all 6 pack cars. thanks Dave

I believe the only 6-pack cars that got the Dana 60 regardless of transmission is the 69 A12 cars.

This has been covered before, but here goes. 66 through 68 hemi four speed and 67 and 68 440 four speed B bodies got the 3.54 dana 60. It was not available on anyting else. 69 A12 cars got the 4.10 dana 60 regardless of trans. Also in 69 through 71 the 4.10 dana 60 was available on hemi and 440 autos, and four speeds,as an option. The 3.54 was available on four speeds. The last year for the dana 60 was 1972 on 440 four speeds. The dana 60 was not found with any engine except the hemi and 440s.

Nope... No A32 either...
A31 or A36 were the options for a 340 or 383..

so 69-71 hemis got an 8 3/4 unless to paid extra for a dana

Agree with above. All years of hemi and 440 four speeds had danas. I was a bit unclear on the 69 to 71s, in my original post.

69-71 automatics with 3:55 axle package got the 8.75. Automatics with 4:10 axle package got the Dana.

One small correction. I believe the 64 and 65 race hemi four speeds got the 8 3/4 from the factory.
