I own an A,B and E body. And the B body is my favorite of the three. But the idiocracy here is stunning. Just mean old turds that lash out because of their own ugliness. There are sites for you? Try 4chan. Or 8Kun where your messiah "Q" publishes? Right up your ally.

.......I think the purpose of your thread was well intended, but lets not lay waste to common decorum in the effort to defend it. The older generations lend their knowledge and strength to the new, but also resist change. I'm 50 now and when I was was 25 or so, I thought my elders were too judgemental.....I later found their opinions to be founded in more fact then fiction. This site caters to a broad swath of great fellows who like to share so much of what they've done and how they acquired it. Lets agree to disagree at times, but we are all friends here.

Ok. Not bad. And certainly agreeable. The intent (at least I hoped) was to have Cleveland baseball fans chime in on their thoughts? This topic of their name is not new. And has been controversial for decades. I personally didn't think Indians were all that bad. (Redskins had to go. Of course it's racist. It's calling out the color of one's skin? Right in the name?) I'm mostly Scandinavian. And a Minnesota Viking fan. I'm not insulted. But then again, Vikings are an ancient people that no longer exists. (At least as it's own entity.) So it's really not "Apples to Apples."

Snobs? Hey, I've owned a few 'A' cars and quite a few E cars too.....but don't think I'm a snob. Probably more closer to being an old curmudgeon lol However, my first car was a B body and looks like my last car will be a B body. Ironic that my first was a 66 Belvedere sedan and my last one is too.

.......I think that many can respect the old names, and hopefully the great memories of the games and being there with family and friends. New memories will be made and we will move on to something else. Never owned a C-body. But I have seen some top letter car builds. Damn, I wouldn't touch that restoration with a stick. Too much body. Too much bends. Too much performance options to even begin to figure out. I just tip my hat.

I will admit A-body is a little "Low rent" but they do what they can. Especially with what they got. I have boasted that A-bodies make ideal drag race builds keeping with the Mopar theme? They are light. And least expensive. This narrative doesn't always sit well to the crowd that liked A-bodies as a classic original option.

E-body site is dominated by a parts scramble. And in my opinion has gone mental on price? I have a '70 Cuda. And I can safely say it's more closer related to A-body on body/interior quality? Just wider to accommodate the then bigger engine options.

Now of course this is just my opinion. Taste on car preferences is an honest subjective matter. To each their own. But the Washington Redskins? Is not an honest subject matter.

Couple of thoughts on a few posts and just IMO: OP, your post likely touched a raw nerve connected to a larger issue. At least with my sarcastic light-hearted posts, this is how I view it. And I’m a pretty moderate sort…ask a few fellow members, some who don’t like my slants on the PF, elected me to their ignore list… and worst of all…will never buy me a beer.

Seriously, this is an issue I’ve found ridiculous everyway I’ve tried to look at it. I’m from an area with a wealth of Indian history. There are streets named Pocahontas, Cherokee, Navaho, etc…our river running through downtown is the Menomonee, and there is a falls there…presto…our town is Menomonee Falls. Been this way since 1892. Our HS mascot was Falls Indians, now renamed after tons of bullshit meetings and ideas for new names. Yet, the board wanted to keep the feathers in da logo! WDF? As such the new name had to have some connection to ahh…feathers. Lol, right off can’t recall the new name! Could be after some bird…don’t give a rip anyway. Indians? Really THIS is offensive? Our heady Milwaukee college, Marquette University – their BB team used to be the Warriors…nope…had to go. This ALL makes zero sense to me. So all fine? Drop these handles (Chiefs, Warriors, Braves, etc.) and let the Native American history dissolve to extinction – ahh – EXCEPT all the casinos we have on reservation land…Potawatomi, Menomonie, Ho-Chunk…nada a friggin thing wrong with associating gambling joints to the Indian heritage?
