2019 World Series champs. Been awhile!
My wife has some family in DC that are fans, they're at the stadium loving it...

Congrats to the Nats! Happy for the fans

I watched all the playoff games of each series and the whole World Series - nothing short of amazing. Those who watched witnessed baseball history. I was cheering for Houston but my hat goes off to the Nats. Wow

It was great to see that the nationals won!......enjoyable series to watch!

Been a Nats fan for years. My Daughter and I go to games when she is home from College. I was holding my breath and praying last light with very happy results. Happy days are here again. Congratulations Nats

Every year it makes history.

Here in STL the media were looking at any angle they could to link the series (its not a WORLD series) to the Cardinals.
Pretty sad.

Congrats to the Expos ooops :poke: Nats
(I hate everything about Washington DC lately)

I really couldn't care any less, who won that game
it was a pretty good series
at least the Astros made it a series, attempted a comeback
looked good thru 4-5 innings
then 2 batters & what like 4-6 pitches, ended it for them
should have left the starter in longer

oh well

I usually root fro the American League always

Is it my imagination or did team playing at home lose every game?
YEs you are correct. The Nats won every game on the road. Now the Astros did win one home game in game 6. But they didn’t win the series. The Nats won all their games on the road and won the World Series. That is a point of baseball history. Never been done before.

Astros lost game 6 at home 7-2. Check post #11 CNN they didn't screw up.

Sorry you’re absolutely correct. I watched the game and just did a brain fart. All the games by both teams were won on the road.

Didn't watch series that much, my stinkee's got beat. But when the Nat were down 3 games to 2 and going to Houston thought it was over. When won the Series wondered if if ever happened that World Series teams lost all home games. Really didn't expect that this was the first time in baseball it happened.

Your stinkees beat or should I say pounded my Twins. They were even money to go to and win the series. They have a very good team and they say will be active in free agency for pitching. If they pick up a couple of the aces on the market may become unbeatable. The twins don’t play the big money game but I hope to see them back at the show one day soon. They won in 87 and 91 and that’s it.

My problem they had their "Stars" come off IR and played them. I believe in team chemistry, they lost it at the end. Who's made those decisions never know. Pitching coach goated/fired.
