console carpet

could someone tell where the console carpet strip with the vinyl on each end attaches to the
console. I think it is the rear but im not sure. im good where the carpet attaches to the side with chrome mouldings and clips but can't fiqure out the otherstrip.

On the rear sheet metal piece under the chrome back piece which screws to this sheet metal.

Never mind that, check the photos. The vinyl wraps around the edges on the metal
