Pics are attached of the current edelbrock carb on my recently acquired 69 B. The engine is the 330 hp version, and has factory a/c and factory 4 speed. This is an unusual combination, and the current carb may be perfect just need rebuilding or adjusting, it is set to idle very high to keep the engine running.
When looking for the correct Carter carb that likely came with it, there are indications that the 330 hp with manual trans would be 4615. However, there is no listing for a carb with 383, 330 hp with manual and a/c. There are listings for 383, auto and a/c, which appears to be different that the 383 auto and non a/c. Confusing, I just want if possible the carb that would be original (since all number matching) but I'm happy with one that will work properly with my configuration. By the way, what does the small "s" indicate on the model# for Carter AVS (i.e 4615s vs 4615?

I don't recall the number, but my 330HP w/air 69 SuperBee had a small holly.

The Carb is listed on the broadcast sheet.

Engine assembly 897 is for four speed TRANS 603 with H51.
The broadcast sheet calls for CARB 98 and CHOKE 45.
98 = Carter 4711S

4615s is 383 HP., 4711s is for LP (Low performance) S is manual, SA is automatic.

I bought a new Superbee in 1969. It had the orange 383 HP, and was equipped with a Carter AVS. I remember that green 383 non-HP motors had a 600 cfm Holley. The green 383 came in non-Superbee Coronets and AC equipped Superbees.

I had a 69 Roadrunner with AC, automatic and the blue 330 horse 383. It came with a small Holley carb.

the 4711s is according to my carb book the manual trans 330HP engine. (W M)the book refers also to the california carb, which I believe is why it is called LP. chrysler made a huge variety of carbs. the 4615s is HP, but the 4616 is LP. they all seem to run the same to me!
