Gentlemen, (and ladies...) I need some serious help with a 70 Roadrunner that I am trying to piece back together. The k-frame was damaged beyond repair so I decided to go aftermarket. Does anyone know what the crankshaft centerline should be compared to the frame or any other reference point? I am planning to use an engine plate on the front of the engine but I need to know where and how to locate the engine back to the stock location. Any help would be appreciated.

I have mocked up engine and trans and mounted trans with stock mount to body, and then set engine height for your proper driveshaft angle.

Thanks for your reply 65wgn, I agree that would be the easiest route except that I am also installing a Tremec TKO 5 speed so the trans mount is modified as well. I am planning to run the original air grabber so I really need to set the engine height first to original dimensions and then adjust the cross member to align driveline.

I've seen that info, IF i remember right, on tti headers site. Gives a distance from k member to crank centerline, and left to right measurements too. If I'm wrong, keep looking (maybe it was some other header site), the info is out there.

My junk is nowhere near stock so I’m not much help, but I believe the AR Engineering engine plates will put the engine in the stock location if you don’t already have a plate.
