Yes, I did many years ago and it worked very well. Speed was determined by adding a magnet to the drive shaft and a sensor to count revolutions. Not sure where I got it though.

I installed a Mopar OEM factory cruise control system and it works way better than I expected. It wasn’t too tough

You have to piece together the parts. I can talk you through it if you want to send me a private message. Some parts are hard to find if you are particular about being “numbers matching”

Aren't the units with good diaphragms hard to find, or are ther other units that don't use that style of transducers? (sorry, that's a GM term)

Not numbers matching, just thought it might be safer to trust the original engineers. Appreciate the offer though. Apparently they can't be bought new, what was I thinking. I think I'll look into after market units. I'm just so used to cruise on the highway, I tend to cramp up. Too many birthdays.

Yes, but I got really lucky finding an unsold one from dealer stock

I've installed the same system and post two on my stroker roadrunner and on my Chevy pickup it's a universal install very simple very easy take your time make good connections you just have to put in a electric generator for your speedometer which is 80 pulses or 800 pulses per mile I don't know it's any instructions I don't remember but it comes in the kit it's all in one
