That cop would have been arrested for manslaughter over here....followed by about 10 years inside! Not saying it's right or wrong just a whole different attitude over there towards that sort of thing.... (already got into too many arguments on this forum!) .....but what a risk...he could have just as easily have ended up as dead as the truck driver or even sent the truck into the very oncoming traffic he was trying to protect.

Officers are trained in the PIT maneuver here - the process, the physics, and the proper procedure for doing it. The only part of this one that went sideways was the truck going under the cruiser, sending it into the air.Wow...things really are different over there.
