Damn what a pit maneuver.. Duke boys got a Dodge Charger cop car.

Kudos to that Trooper that did the maneuver at the right time to avoid more oncoming traffic. Had to be a split second decision...

Imagine the adrenaline running through both of them. Of course, the truck dude spilled a lot inside the truck....

Wow...things really are different over there. That cop would have been arrested for manslaughter over here....followed by about 10 years inside! Not saying it's right or wrong just a whole different attitude over there towards that sort of thing.... (already got into too many arguments on this forum!) .....but what a risk...he could have just as easily have ended up as dead as the truck driver or even sent the truck into the very oncoming traffic he was trying to protect.

Amazing video, glad the trooper is Ok, we need men like that out there.

Truck guy was probably tired of the quarantine.

Might not have been his truck.

We had a lunatic with a machete go wild smashing cars and power lines here yesterday....lone Police Officer (dog handler) shot him dead when approached with the machete. Good clean justice IMHO.

Not saying it wasn't justified and he didn't have it coming, but I'll bet that the trial lawyers are salivating and lining up to take his case.

If he would have pitted from the left pushing the guys rear to the right instead of the way he did it I could see your point.

All the guy had to do was pull over, hell honestly he didn't even need to do that, he needed to not go into oncoming traffic risking other peoples lives.... Supervisor said get him stopped, Officer made it happen.. As far as sending the truck into oncoming traffic, the way he pitted him put the bulk of the energy traveling toward the right shoulder...

He’ll of a crash! Glad the Trooper was ok an no unsuspecting innocent was injured with that meathead swerving into on coming traffic. Unfortunately there was a death but the Trooper was justified in the maneuver.

Officers are trained in the PIT maneuver here - the process, the physics, and the proper procedure for doing it. The only part of this one that went sideways was the truck going under the cruiser, sending it into the air.

Supervision made the call to stop the offender, to protect innocent lives.

It's what cops do.

I'm glad he's home recovering, I bet that was one hell of a ride.

Truck dude shoulda just stopped, and taken the ticket for running the stop sign. Something else was going on, there...guess we'll never know.
