Dana 60 axle backlash adjusters

Started to get a bearing noise out of my right rear axle, took it apart only to find that the guy I bought the car from put the green axle bearings in instead of the OME bearings and in doing so threw a way the adjuster and left side mounting plate. I was lucky to find adjusters and OME bearings and plan on putting it back together but not sure which way the adjuster goes on. Does the adjuster part face out or in. I have the 68 service manual but the diagram is not very clear on which way it goes. Looked on youtube but couldn't find anything on assembling the axle. Any help or diagrams or videos would be great

this goes on the axle 1st, the side up in the picture is to the outside.

CDR thanks for the info and picture, I just wasn't sure which way it went on. I assume the one for the left side ( non adjusting ) goes on the same way
