I have a 1977 Dodge Tradesman 300. The van is built on a 1 ton chassis and has a Dana 60 ( I Believe ) rearend. Is there any way to use this rear in a 1966 Dodge Coronet?
Never mind this thread can be deleted. I found my answer.

Thanks JKent

Depending on how much of the work you can do yourself, you may be better off to buy a new one from Strange made to your specs and ready to bolt in.

Dr Diff has a order page on his site for building a custom Dana 60

Depends how handy you are. Weld on scrap 8 3/4 ends, get custom axle shafts ($300). Axle bearings (100). It'll already be a 3.54 or 4.10. You'll need a sure grip. Or cheaper yet a spool ($200). The car in my avatar has a 8 lug Dana 60 out of a Ford E 350 van. My sons is out of a F250 Ford P/U.
